Over the last few years efforts have been made to distribute a very low-cost computer to those in more economically-challenged countries - and over time the XO Laptop has been distributed in the thousands around the world. However the learning doesn't stop with just the computer, as Tony Forster has demonstrated how to setup the XO in order to use the Arduino IDE and thus with our LeoStick. You can use either the Arduino IDE or load the firmata sketch on the LeoStick and then use the drag-and-drop TurtleArt software on the XO. Either way it's an inexpensive method of introducing hardware and electronics to the end users of the XO laptops.
