With the season for parties and general gatherings now more than upon us, many people will want to share the fun over facebook and other social-networking tools. To make this easier for his visitors, Instructables member "aashby1" has made a simple one-button interface for his DSLR camera setup to enable photos to be uploaded straight to facebook.
The hardware is quite simple, and is a simple flowing button read by an Arduino-compatible board whose USB cable is connected to a PC running photo booth software. This also takes care of the DSLR camera control and greatly simplifies the project. Finally a neat enclosure holds the electronics hardware:
